A native of New York City, Eric Branco has lensed several feature films including CLEMENCY (dir. Chinonye Chukwu), which took home the Grand Jury Prize at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, and The 40-Year-Old Version (dir. Radha Blank), winner of the Best Narrative Directing award at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
His recent work on STORY AVE (dir. Aristotle Torres) netted him a Special Jury Award for Cinematography at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival, as well as a 2024 ASC Spotlight Award nomination.
Branco was also named one of Variety's "10 Cinematographers to Watch" 2019, and one of American Cinematographer's "Rising Stars of Cinematography" 2020.
Recent television credits include LET THE RIGHT ONE IN (Showtime), BUPKIS (Peacock), and RAP SH!T (HBO Max).
In 2024, Branco was invited to join the Cinematographers Branch of the Motion Picture Academy.
